Homework History

I always hated doing homework, but most of the time I did. Mainly because I was forced to do it. In elementary school, my teachers were very hard on homework. I had homework everyday and quizzes on every Friday. In middle school, I only went to middle for a year, homework was not really an issue for real. The only homework I had then was math. In high school, I hate homework. It was the first time I had seven different teacher with seven different personalities. There was one thing that they all had in common though, homework. I had homework everyday for every class due at the same time. That include papers, projects, and quizzes. It was HELL. Do I think homework helps? To a certain point I think. For example, doing 20-100 problems on one subject to outrageous, or reading a boring passage or story and answering dumb questions about it that cause for more investigation is cruel and unusual punishment. In college, it is somewhat similar to high school. But unlike high school, I have breaks from different teachers and work.
